Sundays

On Sundays, as we meet together as a church family, we worship God through singing, prayer and the teaching of His Word.  We meet every Sunday morning at 11am and on the first and third Sunday evenings at 6:30pm.  Our worship gatherings are contemporary, thought-provoking, pratical, interactive and they also provide opportunities to reflect on our relationship with Jesus Christ.

We welcome children of all ages each week, and provide various ministries for different age groups during Morning Worship.  These include Praise and Play (for babies and toddlers), Kids 4 Jesus (for 3 year olds to Primary 7's) and Bible Class (for Year 8+).  Every other Sunday evening from September to June, there is also an opportunity for young people to come along to Youth Fellowship - this is a great time for teenagers to learn more about Jesus in a creative and relaxed setting.

Our worship gatherings are open to all, and the dress code is formal.  You are more than welcome to join us on an Sunday, without obligation.  And do stick around for a cuppa afterwards!  We'd love to see you at St Andrew's!

Here are a few basic hints and tips about our worship gatherings on Sundays:

  • Our dress code is simply that you have to wear clothes - whatever you are comfortable wearing.  This could be shorts and T-shirt or a shirt and tie.
  • We normally stand up to sing, but if you're not able to, you're welcome to stay seated.
  • The seats in the church are ‘first come, first served’. There are no reserved seats unless there is a special event.
  • Many of the words for the songs are projected onto a large screen at the front of the church.  There are bibles in each of the seats, to help you follow the bible readings.
  • There is a loop system in place for those that are hard of hearing.  The layout of the church complex allows easy access for wheelchairs.
  • You do not have to give any  money. It is an optional freewill offering each week.
  • There are a team of people welcoming you at the door each morning, and they are there to help you and answer any questions you might have.
  • If you are new to the church family, then please introduce yourself to the Minister or to one of the people welcoming you at the door.  We'd love to get to know you more!
