I'm new here
If you've never been through the doors of a church building before, the prospect can be daunting, particularly on Sundays. If you're considering coming along to a Sunday worship gathering (which is a good place to start), we'd love to welcome you! If you've never been before, here's what you can expect, which we hope will help make it easier for you to come and join us. We've included a short video giving a little flavour of the St Andrew's family, and some info further down the page of what you can expect on Sundays. If you'd like to have a chat with someone before coming along, please get in touch with us (all our contact details can be found on the Contact Us page of this website). On Sundays, as we meet together as a church family, we worship God through singing, prayer and the teaching of His Word (the Bible). We meet every Sunday morning at 11am and on some Sunday evenings at 6:30pm. Our worship gatherings are contemporary, thought-provoking, pratical, interactive and they also provide opportunities to reflect on our relationship with Jesus Christ. We welcome children of all ages each week, and provide various ministries for different age groups during Morning Worship. These include Praise and Play (for babies and toddlers), Kids 4 Jesus (for 3 year olds to Primary 7's) and Bible Class (for Year 8+). Every other Sunday evening from September to June, there is also an opportunity for young people to come along to Youth Fellowship - this is a great time for teenagers to learn more about Jesus in a creative and relaxed setting. Our worship gatherings are open to all, and the dress code is informal. You are more than welcome to join us on any Sunday, without obligation. And do stick around for a cuppa afterwards! We'd love to see you at St Andrew's! Here are a few basic hints and tips about our worship gatherings on Sundays:
